2. Open the group policy editor, how to START >> RUN >> type gpedit.msc >> press ENTER, then appeared the image below:

3. Klik Local Computer Policy - Computer Configuration – Administrative Templates 4. Lanjut dengan klik Action >> Add/Remove Templates pada Menu Bar.
5.Akan muncul pop up box, klik Add dan carilah file tempat kamu menyimpan file GoogleUpdate.adm yang sudah didownload tadi ( Langkah No. 1. ) dan tutup kembali. Klik Close.

6. After that, you should now be able to see the Local Computer Policy - Computer Configuration - Administrative Templates - Google
7. Steps to disable chek Chrome update is live to the last item, Administrative Templates - Google - Google Update - Applications - Google Chrome.
8. If you have found click Google Chrome, on the right you will see Update Override Policy, click 2x. A pop-up box as shown below:

Click Enable, and then on the "policy" below click on the "Updates Disable" followed click OK.
9. Done. Now google chrome already will not check updates and automatic updates again. Important !!! You must manually update the chrome for the sake of security and obtain useful improvements to the improved performance of the Chrome browser itself. How: You can update the chrome with chrome offline installer (LIVE WITHOUT THROUGH BROWSER). This is the alternative installer; which does not require a network connection to install Chrome - with the understanding that your computer remains connected to the Internet but not update directly through the browser - so it can be installed even when you're offline. In other words directly download the latest updates in full in an installer file.

After clicking the link above, will be directed towards the Google Chrome download page, the page will be asked in the form of two options , choose accordingly. Once installed, Chrome will try to automatically update when it detects that the latest version of the browser is available.

However, Google itself advises users to bookmark this page and come back periodically to manually download the latest version of Chrome. That way, users can be sure to receive important security fixes and feature improvements.
